Amanda & Brian - Grass Valley Courtyard Suites A fall wedding

Where do I even start?! These two remind me why I love what I do! So full of love, smiles and laughter! Plus family and that welcomed us like we were old friends, the perfect fall venue, nestled quietly in old town Grass Valley and the perfect weather!





We first met in the 5th grade, but we don't really remember each other. All I remember was that he was one of the tallest boys in my class haha. We later met each other in 2011 through a mutual friend. We became really close friends and enjoyed each other's company. Our time lines (availability lol) finally met up in 2013 and we then became an item. We've been inseparable ever since.



Their gorgeous fall inspired wedding took place in historic downtown Grass Valley, California. Nestled in the scenic pines of the western Sierra Nevada mountain range, Grass Valley is home to some of California Gold Rush's richest mines, both Empire and North Star mines are only minutes away.



In April of 2015 we were taking a much needed trip to Monterey Bay. On April 18th, it was our third day there and we had done all of the fun things we set out to do such as; go to the aquarium, go indoor glow in the dark mini golf, the krazy mirror maze and hit up our favorite billiards place for some drinks. It was getting late and we walked from our hotel to get to all of those fun places.


Its a happy hour theme so there will be lots of cocktail hours!

We were walking back to our hotel room down Ocean View Boulevard and we stopped to take a look at the high tide (it was pretty late at that point). As I was looking at the amazing waves crashing, he was busy trying to figure out how to get down on his knee. Eventually he got there and I turned around to only see Brian on one knee with the perfect ring.

When I asked Amanda and Brian if there were any "must have" pictures... this is what she said, "Some goofy ones. We are not very serious people. We try to be easy going." I LOVE THIS! We had so much fun, and you could see and feel that everyone else did too!
